First United Methodist Church is in charge of running Generous Jerry’s Fireworks Stand (corner of South Washington and Burleigh Ave).

All money raised will go to the new church building on North Washington. If you have any questions, call Pete Jones (226-7835.)

Youth Rummage Sale

Do You Have Things You Have Been Keeping Just in Case and Haven't Touched Them in Years? We Can Help You Clear Out Some Space!

A Youth Rummage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, August 1st.

All donations my be put in the room outside of Suzanne Thorenson's office in the basement by July 31.

Please NO Adult Clothing or Computer Monitors!

Birdies & Dogs

We invite you to join us for 9 holes of golf @ Tom O’Leary Golf Course on Wednesday evenings.

We will start at 5:15 pm and end in the parking lot sharing a hot dog, devotional and some fellowship.

Couple’s Bible Study

Sunday Evenings Starting on June 14th

We will meet in the Berean Room, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, and follow Kermit's Marriage Series.

3rd Annual FUMC Family CampOut

August 14th @ Sibley Park, Bismarck

FAITH-IN-ACTION MINISTRY

To serve those that cannot serve themselves locally, FUMC is revitalizing a ministry we call FAITH-IN-ACTION.

It empowers volunteers to help those less fortunate by:

• running errands/giving rides (connecting needs to community services)
• performing simple chores
• fixing broken items in homes

Planning this ministry first requires a small team to build the infrastructure and process.

I need 2 or 3 "thinkers" to serve as Planning Leaders that have the ability to communicate verbally and that enjoy turning ideas into reality. Responsibilities include: *defining the rolls of volunteers *setting up the process *soliciting/training volunteers.
