How do I start
donating electronically at First Church? Complete the
Authorization Form, and return it, along with a voided check, to
First Church. You can drop it in the offering plate, bring it
right to the church office, or mail it to the church.
|
Who should I contact
if I have questions? Our treasurer, Al Roll, can
answer your questions concerning electronic donations. You can
reach him by e-mail at al_roll@hotmail.com.
|
|
Where do I get a copy
of the Authorization Form? You can download and print it
from http://www.bisfumc.org/authorization.pdf,
or you can pick up a copy at the back of the sanctuary or in the
church office.
|
How will this appear
on my bank statement? It will usually show up on bank
statements with the description “CONTRIBUTN FIRST UNITED
MET”. The amount will follow this description.
|
|
What happens to the
confidential information on the Authorization Form? The
information will be entered into a secure web site that will
handle the transfers. The forms then will be locked in the church
safe.
|
What if I date I chose
to make my donation falls on a weekend or holiday? The
donation will be made on the next business day following the
weekend or holiday.
|
|
What if I need to
change my donation details or I want to quit donating
electronically? To make any changes to the amount, bank
account, frequency, or to discontinue electronic donation, fill
out the Authorization Form and return it to the church. There are
options for all those actions on the form.
|
What should I do with
my donation envelopes? You can still use them to either
make additional donations, such as for Easter, Christmas, or Pink
Envelope. You can also write “Electronic Donation” on
the envelope and put it in the offering plate if you are
uncomfortable letting the plate pass you by even though you are
giving to First Church.
