War of the World Views
Have you ever wondered about your place as a Christian in this religiously diverse and multi-ethnic world? Do other religions have or teach truth? Is Atheism a ‘religion’? Does Islam teach violence? Does Judaism reject Jesus? Legacy UMC will begin a new preaching/teaching series designed to consider those and other important questions like them. This series will take an intentional look at the meaning of 6 very different “World Views”, and see if we might discover how to live distinctively and effectively as followers of Jesus in the midst of some very unique World Views. The messages will include:
“Atheism and Agnosticism”
“Modernity and Universalism”
“Eastern Religious Expressions”
“Islam and the Koran”
“Judaism and the Old Testament”
“Christianity and the New Testament”
