Did you know that 480 kids in Bismarck and Mandan would not have enough to eat over the weekend if not for the “BACKPACKS FOR KIDS” program through Community Action? This program provides backpacks for kids on Fridays filled with enough food to feed them for the weekend. Donations can be brought to the main hallway of the church. Deadline: February 19

 ITEMS NEEDED INCLUDE:

  Boxes of cereal

  Peanut butter (16-18 oz)

  Jelly (no glass jars)

  Canned dinners (flip top)

  Monetary donations

  New or used backpacks (good condition)

  Single-serve size of crackers, pudding, applesauce, fruit cups, mac & cheese and granola bars.
