3rd Quarter Financial Update |
|
Through three-quarters of 2009, First United Methodist Church is holding steady financially. Revenues are slightly behind budget ($3,000). Expenses, although below budget ($20,000) through September, are expected to be on the rise soon.
Heating & air conditioning repairs will take about a $5,000 chunk out of the budget, & colder weather will increase heating costs as well. It is important that we continue to keep contributions on track in order to meet all conference apportionments and church obligations.
Legacy contributions slowed over the last 3 months, however, we have still collected about $235,000 through September. Please keep honoring those pledges as we build our legacy!
The Administrative Team would like to thank you all for taking God's call seriously. Your generous and loyal support, whether it be financial, in service, in prayer, or in any other way God has called you, is greatly appreciated. May God continue to bless you in 2009! |

Following is what is being proposed as the new name, the 6 new practices, and the missional preamble.
Because of the Legacy we have received...
We build the Legacy God desires...
To leave the Legacy the world needs...
